8 acres of community recreation space. Heavy usage occurs during the Spring and Summer months with various high school sports and adult programs. Amenities include:
• Bill Baril Memorial Softball Field w/ lights
• Horseshoe pits w/ lights
• Open green space
• Playground
• Portable toilet (seasonal)
The Bill Baril Memorial Softball Field at Veterans Park is home to many softball sports teams including the Claremont Coed Slow-Pitch Softball League, the Claremont Adult Modified Softball League and the Stevens High School Girls Softball Program. The softball field has also seen a number of updates over the last decade. Community members and sponsors continue to provide support in making this a state-of-the-art facility for recreational space.
